Theatre shows in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear
At Eve Trew School of Dance, we have organised numerous shows across Tyne and Wear and the North East. Enrol in our dance and drama classes today!
Years of successful events
February 2016: Huge praise to all our students who took part in our Trewly Scrumptious show at Newcastle's Theatre Royal. This was a spectacular event from the tiny pre-school children tapping their toes to the ladies perfoeming their suprise cancan. We managed to raise over £7000 for the North of England Children's Cancer Research ('NECCR') and over £1000 for the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity. Thank you for all your support.
April 2015: We were so proud of all our dancers who performed this year with Pasha at the Customs House in South Shields. Always fabulous to dance with such a lovely team of professionals and great experience for all the pupils. Think it's fair to say that a good time was had by all! July 2014: Hope you all enjoyed the wonderful show our children put on for you at Low Fell
Rugby Club’s summer fair on 12th . Well done to everyone.
June 2014: Well done to the group of 20 students who performed alongside stars of the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing show at the Customs House, South Shields. We are very proud to have been invited to perform alongside these professionals for the third year running and we feel that this is due to the talent and behaviour
of the children who have participated and Miss Stephanie's excellent choreography!
April 2014: April 2014 Holiday workshops. A great time was had by all – even the instructors! The kids had loads of fun decorating eggs and Easter boxes, playing team games and learning lots of new dance moves. Our summer holiday workshop dates will be announced soon.
March/April 2014: Well done to all our pupils from CATS who performed extracts from the Sound of Music at our end of term show. An impressive performance (at very short notice) from one of our senior boys, Domonic, as the captain. Thank you also to the girls from our senior choreographic class who also performed a couple of dances they have been learning in class, a lovely show.
February 2014: We had a great time performing in the IDTA Tyneside area Gala performance at the Tyne Theatre in Newcastle. Well done to all the talented youngsters
who took part. You looked amazing on stage!
February and January 2014
Congratulations to one of our senior male students, Domonic who
successfully auditioned and obtained a place at Phil Winston’s Theatreworks College
in the North West of England. Through his hard work, talent and determination he also secured a bursary/scholarship to fund his studies for the next 3 years. Well done Domonic !!

Huge congratulations to all our pupils who achieved excellent exam results from our recent exam session. Two of senior girls, Ellen and Rebecca achieved outstanding results and were put forward for an IDTA bursary award.
